Nanocom Evolution for the Range Rover L322 2010–2012 — the tool that talks to the whole truck, not just the engine

Your Land Rover is not one computer. A 2010–2012 Range Rover runs a network of modules — engine, transmission, air suspension, parking brake, ABS and the body systems — all talking to each other over the CAN bus. A $40 OBD-II reader from the parts store sees the engine and emissions side. That's it.

The failures that frustrate Range Rover owners — an air suspension fault, a parking brake that won't release, a warning the dash won't explain — live in modules a generic reader can't open. The Nanocom opens them. It's the diagnostic tool the Land Rover world has standardized on, built by Blackbox Solutions, a company that has done nothing but Land Rover diagnostics for two decades.

Extinct Motorsports is now the Official US Reseller for Blackbox Solutions — the full Nanocom line, stocked and shipped from Virginia. No customs clearance. No import duty. No carrier brokerage bill waiting at your door.

Activated for your truck

This kit ships activated for the Range Rover L322 2010–2012: the L322 unlock, which covers the whole vehicle. It's powered up and checked here before it leaves Lynchburg. Plug it in and go.

Optional: choose 'No second vehicle license needed' if this vehicle is all you need.

In the box

  • Nanocom Evolution handheld, activated for the Range Rover L322 2010–2012
  • The black CAN BUS cable, which the L322 talks through
  • SD card
  • Mini-USB cable for firmware updates

What it does

  • Reads and clears fault codes across engine, transmission, ABS, SRS, body control and more — the real module codes, not a generic "check engine" summary. Coverage varies by model and ECU.
  • Live data and logging for chasing intermittent faults and proving a repair actually worked.
  • Actuator tests — command fans, EAS valves, injectors and more to separate a bad component from a bad signal.
  • Service and adaptation resets where supported.
  • Coding and programming (model-dependent) for options, modules and replacements, with guided on-screen workflows.
  • Handheld, no laptop for day-to-day work. It lives in the truck, not on a workbench.

What it means on a 2010–2012 Range Rover

Everything here comes from Blackbox's own CAN-bus functions and coverage manual, linked in the manuals section below. Here's where the Nanocom earns its keep on a 2010–2012 Range Rover:

  • It knows the truck. A vehicle detect reads model, year, engine, transmission and the modules fitted, and the menus show only the functions this truck has.
  • Every module on the network. Fault codes read from every module, each module's hardware and software numbers, and live engine data on the move in instrument mode.
  • Air suspension and parking brake. Ride height calibration at each corner, live air suspension inputs, a full deflate before work, and tight tolerance mode for wheel alignment. Parking brake calibration, service positions and an unjam routine.
  • One configuration file. The truck's settings live in a single configuration file (CCF) shared across its modules. The Nanocom reads it, you change it on Blackbox's Genesis website, and the Nanocom writes it back. ECU updates work the same way.

Own more than one Land Rover?

The Nanocom license belongs to the tool, not to a VIN. This kit works on as many 2010–2012 Range Rovers as you own — your truck, your buddy's truck, the one you're thinking about buying.

Unlock codes follow the truck's computers, not the badge, so a second truck often costs less than you'd expect:

  • The LR3, LR4, LR2, Evoque and Range Rover Sport each take one unlock that covers the whole vehicle.
  • The Discovery I and II, Range Rover P38 and Defender each take two unlocks, plus the green OBDII cable for the P38 and Discovery I.

Pick a second truck in Add a second vehicle license and the amount shown is exactly what it adds: only the unlocks this kit doesn't already include, plus the other cable if that truck needs one. It's activated before the kit ships, and any extra cable is in the box.

More vehicles in the same order? Add each vehicle's add-on license and enter NEW as the unit ID. Buy a different Land Rover later and you add that vehicle's license — you don't buy a second Nanocom.

Why buy it here instead of overseas

  • Priced for US buyers. Shipping and importing in quantity reduces our per-unit shipping and import duty cost, and we pass that saving along to you, usually around $20. Order direct from Cyprus and you pay the kit price, international courier shipping, then US import duty and carrier fees at your door. Our price already has the import handled — you pay the kit price and shipping, and that's the whole bill.
  • Activated for your truck before it leaves. Every Evolution is licensed to the vehicle you select and powered up and checked here before it ships.
  • Ships from Virginia — typically 2–3 business days, not a customs queue.
  • Warranty work stays in the US. Kits carry a 12-month return-to-base warranty, and Lynchburg is the US service center. A warranty return ships to Virginia, not Cyprus.
  • The right license the first time. Not sure which engine management your truck has? Email your VIN and I'll confirm before you order.
  • Try it first. Owners can rent a Nanocom for a week before committing (contact us for details, not all models available in the rental).
  • Same factory tool, same factory support. Firmware updates, documentation and the Nanocom forum come from Blackbox exactly as they would if you bought direct.

A straight word on support

On a Discovery II, I'll help you use this tool — that's my truck. On a GEMS truck, Diesel, or CAN BUS vehicle, the authority is Blackbox's own documentation, videos, forum and support team, and they're very good at it. I won't pretend to be an expert on trucks I don't own.

Read the manuals before you buy

Blackbox publishes a guide for every system the Nanocom talks to. Read exactly what it does on your truck before you order:

Every document and video, organized by vehicle: the Nanocom Documentation Library.

Range Rover L322 questions

My Range Rover is a 2006. Is it covered?

No. Coverage of the L322 starts at 2010. Blackbox explains that the 2002–2009 trucks carry far more module-specific settings than a handheld can hold; from 2010 the settings live in one configuration file, which the Nanocom handles through Genesis.

Can it change my truck's settings?

Yes, through Genesis: the Nanocom reads the configuration file, you change it on the website, and the Nanocom writes it back from the SD card.

Why does it need an SD card?

It carries configuration files, ECU updates and logged data. Blackbox's free BBS app formats it and creates the folders these trucks need.

Official US Reseller — Blackbox Solutions

A parts-store scanner sees your engine. The Nanocom sees the whole truck — body control, ABS/traction, airbags, transmission, instruments — and lets you do something about it. I run one on my own Discovery IIs. Now I sell the full line, stocked and shipped from Virginia.

Blackbox's own video: programming a key on a Discovery II.

  • Reads the real module codes — not a generic "check engine"
  • Live data, actuator tests, resets, coding and key programming (model-dependent)
  • Handheld — no laptop, lives in the glovebox
  • License belongs to the tool, not the VIN — add vehicles later
  • Priced for US buyers — shipping and importing in quantity reduces our per-unit shipping and import duty cost, and we pass that saving along to you, usually around $20. Nothing to pay at your door.
  • Ships from Virginia, typically 2–3 business days
  • 12-month warranty — Lynchburg is the US service center, so a warranty return ships to Virginia, not Cyprus
  • Rent one for a week first (contact us for availability - not all models covered by rental unit).
