The Bones

The truck is a highly optioned 7 passenger model with full winter package including the ultraluxurious heated windshield, rear air, sls suspension option, and the interior wood appointments. The truck was purchased off lease by the previous owner with 41k miles on the clock. Shortly after purchasing the previous owner noticed a head gasket weeping coolant to the exterior of the engine and had the selling dealership install BRAND NEW CYLINDER HEADS. Over the next 20 years the truck mostly sat with the owner only putting approximately 8k additional miles on it. When acquired by Extinct Motorsports the truck overall was in excellent condition (especially the interior) except for the paint, which had faded over the years. The previous owner had passed and his estate sold the truck to a local used car lot who had the truck inspected and installed new tires and a new battery.

The Work

Underhood

Between the extremely low mileage and the new top end installed less than 10k miles ago the engine did not need anything in terms of freshening up but we did implement the Extinct Motorsports improvements including the PCV mod, crankshaft position sensor cover mod, inline thermostat mod, and ignition coil relocation mod. Full details are shown in the attached build sheet.

Driveline, Frame, Steering, Suspension and Brakes

Due to the extremely low mileage this area did not need a lot of attention however in the interest of maintaining the truck in excellent condition and counteracting the one weak point in the chassis Extinct Motorsports has coated the chassis inside and out using Fluid Film corrosion protection coating.

Exterior

Extinct exterior restoration for this truck consisted a complete paint job and refinish of the bumpers and fender flares with bedliner.

Interior

The interior on this truck was in excellent condition overall, with only the headliner needing replacement. During the process of replacing the headliner the truck was treated to the complete Extinct Motorsports sunroof waterproof modifications and the headliner radiant barrier modification. The best way to see the modifications is by watching the video. Of course new shifter boots, new subwoofers, and all the window regulators were lubricated to prevent any future window roller breakage.

Delivery

Truck will come with key fob, spare key, an ultragauge and companion IR pen thermometer, OEM safari tire cover and full Extinct Motorspot itemized build list documentation. All work completed is warranted for 1 year from date of purchase.
